| Demon | Typically 'evil', rather chaotic, very rarely makes logical sense, quite a numerous race. | Vampire | A specific type of Demon, survives by feeding on the blood of humans, again normally seen as evil due to attacking humans | Stronger then a human, with greater speed and reflexes. Can also sneak up on humans in some situations - especially including mirrors. Practically immortal. | A stake through the heart kills them, exposure to sunlight also will eventually result in their death. Immortality can take its toll as well. |
| Human | A numerous race, well suited to a wide range of jobs. | Lycan (Were-beings) | Another specific subset of demon, while Lycan is typically a person who transforms into wolves those who show traits of other carnivorous creatures (eg Hyenas etc) are also included in this branch even if they do not transform. | Naturally work well in packs, blood thirsty rage, unpredictable to humans, plentiful supply of food (humans), easy way of transmission - though this depends on the 'type' of Lycan. Understands and works well in strict hierachies | Can become reckless, can fight other lycans for dominance weakening them in general to the threat of attacks from those hunting them. Primal instincts are very strong in Lycans so can easily give themselves away even in human form. |
| Dhampir | Half vampire, Half human, Dhampirs are normally torn between their human and vampire instincts. Very rare as most the time the babe is dead before born. They can eat human food, and typically become a slave to a vampire willing to take them in or expert vampire hunters. | Has some of the vampire traits, as well as a certain level of immunity to sunlight (it still will burn them eventually however and they are weaker in sunlight). Rather determined to survive when they grow old enough, they also have the adaptability of humans. | Constant battle within themselves over whether to feed from humans or not. Can be killed by a stake through the heart. Can hit a state of bloodlust where they need to feed and will feed without any care whom sees them. Not drinking blood will kill them eventually. |
